THANK YOU!

Denny's Unauthorized Dual Sport

Thank You!

Florence & Denny

Thanks. Yes, thanks. On behalf of Denny Haas, allow us to extend gratitude to all of the riders who made it to Black Lake this September and enjoyed a late summer day to help Denny's battle with cancer. Thanks are also due to those that were so gracious in donating what they could even though they couldn't attend the event.

Denny & brother Larry

We all have our pride and none of us can stomach the feeling of asking for help. You should know that this event was not at the request of Denny, but by those that know and love him. We all think it worked marvelously.
By the way, that's how the title of the event "Denny's Unauthorized Dual Sport" came about. He had never "authorized" the ride!

Lots of great, twisty, stuff for the riders!

Everyone had a chance to chat with Denny & Flo as well as each other over the weekend. The weather was just short of spectacular and only enhanced the whole experience. The riders enjoyed two excellent days of riding with nothing but huge grins from their riding induced rush. Dinner at the Bluffs was great, if not a bit slow, but that only made you hit the scrumptious deserts long before one should have.

Good Eats @ The Bluffs

The generosity of our fellow riders and their families never ceases to amaze us. We were able to raise almost a thousand dollars that were all put to good use. To all of those that made it to the event, that sent a note of support, that made donations and helped where they could, thank you.
Denny was able to make it to the Color Tour and the Toys for Kids Ride following the Black Lake event, but was unable to ride at either one. He really enjoyed seeing his fellow riders and truly appreciated the concerns and time each of you took to chat with him.
With one final riding season complete, Denny passed away on November 6, 2006.
On behalf of Denny and his family, thanks.
