Denny's Unauthorized Dual Sport

September 9-10, 2006 - Black Lake, Michigan

A Benefit ride for Denny Haas put on by The Great Lakes Dual Sporters. All proceeds from the event will go to help Denny's fight with cancer.

Dual Sport Route: This is a Dual Sport-only event for a special cause. There are plenty of great miles of DS route to ride, sure to entertain and provide scenic wonder. Over 200 miles of riding! Quality two track, nice single track and a bit of dirt to connect 'em. Gas on property, gas & food stops on both routes.

Camping: GLDS has the Bluffs Resort for the weekend, plenty of rustic camping available, several electric sites as well (reserve with us or first come first serve on remaining). Camping is $10 for the weekend.

Food: GLDS is buying pizza for everyone at the Bluffs Restaurant after the prize drawing Saturday evening. Free pizza and pop!

Sign-up: 8:00 – 11:00 am each day.

Prize Drawings: Saturday 5:00, Sunday 3:00

Ride fees:

Requirements: Street Legal Bike, current member of CCC, ORV Sticker, U.S. Forest Service approved spark arrestor and pass 94dbA sound test. Memberships & ORV Stickers available at sign up.

I-75 to Exit 310, east on M-68 to M-33. North on M-33 nine miles to Mann Rd. East on Mann Rd fi ve miles to Black River Rd. North on Black River Rd two miles to Twin Lakes Rd; east on Twin Lakes 3 miles to Doriva Beach Rd. South/East on Doriva Beach Rd two and a half miles to the Bluffs Resort (south side of the road).
