Ted's Chandler Hill Challenge 2010 AMA National Dual Sport AMA National Adventure Tour September 25-26, 2010, Wolverine Michigan Note: New Location for 2010!
What's your pleasure? Remote, rustic, rugged two tracks that go on an
on, through some of Michigan's most hilly terrain? How about private
single track (on private property no less) so rarely used you'll barely
see the thin ribbon of dirt amongst the ferns. Maybe winding, twisty
scenic hard top mixed with dirt is more to your liking for your big dual
sport.
All hero sections will be optional. Make the Dual Sport route as challenging or as easy as you want. Michigan is sandy country, street legal knobby tires are strongly encouraged for all bikes, big or small. Participants can experience both days or just one. September 25th & 26th,
2010 120+ miles on Saturday with another 90+ for Sunday. Shorter
options available. Lunch will be provided on Saturday right on the route. Dinner at Camp on Saturday night is also included courtesy of BMW of Detroit. Door Prizes provided on Saturday after dinner. Event is staged at Sturgeon River Campground. This ride is now "Ted's" ride, as fellow club member and lead dude for this event, Ted Farnsworth, passed away just weeks before the ride in 2009.
Local motels available. Preregister & Save! $35
for 1 Day, $65 for both; $40/Day when paid at time of event. Directions: Map available to site I-75 to exit 301 (Wolverine). More information:
